Ah great thread! All I want in life is a great maternity maxi dress or skirt that is actually long enough! I’m just under 6′, street size 8 or 10 bottoms, M top. And I’m almost 27 weeks pregnant. Although I have my go-to pre-pregnancy brands that are always long enough this has been such a struggle – the one benefit is that we are pregnant in the summer and therefore don’t need a lot of long pants to get us through.

Jeans – I have a Maternal America pair and a Gap Long pair that I love – both skinnies, both long enough. For Gap I recommend going a size smaller, as they run big. Same with Gap work pants.

I’ve had no luck with ON longs in their dresses, still not long enough although I think it’s hit or miss depending on the dtress style.

I love the first dress you posted – I might be checking that out in person.

Hoping to get good ideas from this thread, I know there have been a few in the past, but none that recently. Thanks for starting it!

I am 6′.  I got my pants (work pants, jeans, leggings, workout pants) from Gap (online) and I got shirts from Gap and Old Navy.

Workout pants weren’t quite as long as I would like, I’d like them an inch or two longer.  But they worked.

My favorite were tank tops from Old Navy (http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5801&vid=1&pid=855656762).  They were always long enough and they actually work great for me as nursing tank tops (even though they are not officially nursing tops).  I wore some long cardigans from Express (non maternity) over them.  I bought a lot of tanks because I figured if I’m pregnant again in the summer I could use them again.

I really loved my jeans from Gap.

I delivered in April (so my 2nd and 3rd trimesters were over Fall and Winter) so I didn’t buy any maternity dresses.  My work is pretty casual so I didn’t really need any dressy items.

I got my normal sizes for everything and I didn’t have any problems.

These http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=7275&vid=1&pid=151077242 were some of the tanks from Gap.  I liked them until the last 3 weeks or so, they got slightly short on me at that point.  And I wasn’t quite as big as some people get so that makes me thing they might not work the last month or two.

One word: Topshop. They have an AMAZING maternity line specifically for tall women! I’m 6’0, so I can definitely vouch for good lengths on things like jeans and leggings and even maxi dresses. Well worth every penny.

My favorite maternity jeans were actually from H&M! I am 6’1″ and they were my favorite! I cried when I couldn’t wear them after giving birth. I will blame that on the hormones. :/

I’m 5’8 and I’ve definitely had the best luck with Gap jeans too. Maxi dresses from Old Navy are great, but I’m really not loving the shirts. They ride up on the sides with all the rouching, maybe because my bump isn’t big enough to hold the shirt in place?
