Hello there! So I’m approaching the 5 month mark in the next few weeks so my clothes are becoming a bit snug at this point. I was lucky enough to be able to get this far without any type of maternity jeans or anything so I’ll count my blessings! With that being said, where are the best places to buy maternity clothes? I’ve looked at Target and the selection at my stores are pretty slim. I want to find good clothes that won’t break the bank, I love finding good deals! So any suggestions you ladies have would be appreciated 🙂

Surprisingly Walmart has a decent selection online and are decent quality for the (affordable) price! Motherhood Maternity has treated me ok as well, and I’ve had good luck with their clearance racks. Burlington Coat factory usually has a small selection of maternity clothes with their baby stuff, it’s discount/overtsock so I’ve seen Walmart brands, Motherhood, and other random things, for very cheap.

Old navy or Kid To Kid have been my favorites. And I’d always try them on in store because maternity wear is just so weird and it all depends on your bump shape

I rarely buy maternity clothes in store because I just don’t have the chance with a 2 year old. But I really like Old Navy and Motherhood. You definitely score better deals with better selection online than in the stores in both of those places too.

I’m looking for a balance between cost and fit/style so I’m not willing to totally give up my sense of style for months but I won’t pay for designer (like from A Pea in a Pod) either. I’ve had luck with maternity consignment/resale for deals but I’m getting my basics (pants/jeans) from gap online, old navy online, and a few trendy things from PinkBlush and Asos. Loft also has a maternity line if you catch a coupon or a sale. I know people love Motherhood but their clothes swamp me, all the tops are long enough to be a dresses and I want to feel attractive while I’m pregnant, not frumpy!
Zulilly also has a huge maternity selection but their shipping takes so long that I don’t have the patience (amazon prime has spoiled me!), I know you can score some good deals from them though!

I got almost all of mine online. Especially since I need tall/long pants. And better to buy them together in one place if you have discounts, coupons, rewards, etc (like from gap, oldnavy, etc).

I got mine at Target. They’re cheap, and mind you you’ll only be wearing them for a limited time!

Rafissch: I feel the same way, I don’t want to be frumpy either! Thanks for the insight on some of the online sites, I was curious about some of them, especially Zulily but if I want something from them sounds like ordering sooner rather than later is important!

i shop at Ross and butlington coat factory. Some stores have good selections, others not so much. You can also try consignment stores, but those have been mostly misses with me.

mrscross1020: Asos and Pinkblush Maternity were my favorites. I think it depends a lot on your style and build too. A lot of friends loved Motherhood and Target but I had terrible luck with sizing at both. Oh and H&M maternity online was my go-to for summer basics- I got a bathing suit ad demin shorts and both were comfortable yet flattering. Pregnant or not, I was unwilling to look frumpy!

mrscross1020: Burlington Coat factory and Younkers have a good selection compared to many other stores I’ve gone to and most stuff is a reasonable price. This is my first child and I had to start wearing some maternity clothes at 4 weeks. A few of my work pants and sweatshirts still fit me. I heard Walmart and Target have a good selection too, but I haven’t gone there yet, but plan to real soon.

And I ordered from Gap Maternity and LOFT maternity for a *few* work clothes.
(it always happens that your’e like, “nooo…I don’t want to wear maternity clothes” and then you have to get them and after wearing them you’re like, “Why aren’t all my pants elastic in the waist?”)

I got some of mine from target online and some from motherhood maternity. None are great quality to be honest. Motherhood Maternity isn’t cheap and I found their clothing to get nubby after just a few washes :/ the stuff i got from target online has been decent though!

I had good luck with Old Navy and Gap Maternity. I also found some good stuff at Ross and at a children’s consignment store where they had a maternity clothes section. Secondhand is a pretty good deal since people don’t tend to wear maternity clothes for long.

I used to work at Gap and they have some great, well-made maternity clothing. Pretty regular sales too, so you don’t have to pay full price!
