Sheryl0013: sounds almost identical to CA maternity leave! I’m just going to see how I progress with my doctors visits, I’m on every 2 weeks visits now and my last one (Thursday) the doctor expressed concern over swollen feet and my blood pressure so I may just use those 4 weeks prior!

mrscross1020: You sound like your in the same boat as me. My goal was to make it to 39 weeks and go out the week before the baby is due. I went to my appointment Tuesday and they immediately took me out no options to go further because of intense swelling from my knees down to my ankles with level 4 pitting. It was so bad the day they saw me that I couldn’t get my flip flops back on after taking them off in the waiting room and they sent me for an NST immediately. I feel fortunate knowing this time is all paid but I wish I woulda stayed in a little longer just cause it was a goal I set for myself and I have not a clue what to do with myself for the next 2 weeks.

I’m due Sept 24 and planning to work until the end of August if all goes well. I’ll use vacation time until I deliver and then start my one year mat leave (I’m in Canada).
