Before I got pregnant I was a Dirty Delete, but now through the mircle of being pregnant I am size OMGICANTFITINTOANYBRAIFIND! I found some cotton sports bras, but I am feeling less and less as woman due to the uniboob and just overall ‘grim’ outlook on my body. So does anyone know where I can find a maternity or nursing bra that will actually lift and separate me a bit?

I had the same problem. I was a Dirty Delete prior to pregnancy, and I’ve grown two cup sizes in the first trimester alone.
I would check out Motherhood Maternity. It took me trying on several styles to find what did the trick, but here is a link to my favorite. The cups are nice and deep with full coverage and looks nice under my clothes!
Good luck with your search, bras are my least favorite thing to buy.

I just bought some at Thyme! The difference in comfort from normal bras is AMAZING. I’m not sure what their sizing is. I normally wear a 38D and have gone up to a 40D so far……

Same problem here. Im nirmally a 34D to 34Dirty Delete depending on my weight…noe that I’m pregnant I’m spilling out of all my bras, even my sports bras. Also I can’t stand underwire anymore. 🙁
i was was hesitant to spend a lot of money on maternity bras so early in the game…ended up buying some stretchy comfy bras from nordstroms for now….tried on some maternity bras at target, but they weren’t comfortable at all. I wish I could just order a few from nordstroms and try them on at home but their maternity bra selection online is so “picked” very few sizes to choose from, etc.
i giess my next stop is motherhood, but I literally hate going there…nothing on that place looks cute to me. They do have more upscale maternity shops about an hour north of me, I dunno. If any of you big chested gals has found a bra that works for them, link please!

@Hippos: I was a 32D pre-preg and am currently wearing a 36E at 28 weeks!
Motherhood Maternity is the only comfy brand of “real” bras I’ve been able to find, and they’re not bad price-wise! Like $20/each.
If you can’t find any to fit you, ask them to check online. They told me I’m going to have to do that when I’m actually nursing.

Ladies…. welcome to my personal hell. I am a 34-GG pre-pregnancy. Who knows what I am now. It’s basically impossible to find my NORMAL cupsize anywhere but at specialty stores, and I have not been able to locate a store in my area. Ugh. Does ANYONE ELSE have this issue? Suggestions would be MOST welcome!

@missrain: My goodness I am so sorry! I am lucky that I live in a big city so I have so many choice…right? Wrong! I have been searching for large bras that aren’t costing me $50-$100.

Ladies this is also my nightmare.. I was a 34E pre pregnancy and have now grown and my bras with underwires are so uncomfortable! I got one bra at a local baby store- the brand is “bravado” – I think it’s a canadian brand. It is super comfortable.. But defienitely doesn’t separate and lift like a regular bra.. I guess I’ll have to try motherhood. I just know that you shouldn’t really wear an underwire after birth due to the milk production.. Too hard!!!

I am convinced bras are torture devices created by the Devil. I bought a decent bra from Macy’s as I was heading in to my second trimester and less than a month later I find myself wanting to rip it off the second I get home at night. UGH!!!

Online shopping is going to be your best friend. I was a 32G before pregnancy and could never buy bras in the store. The best place for large sizes, good prices, and quick shipping is Nordstrom online. I would also try websites such as Bare Necessities, Fresh Pair, HerRoom, or ASOS as they sell larger sizes and have good shipping policies. All of these places have good selections of nursing bras in larger sizes.

Go to a specialty bra store to get properly fitted, then find bras on ebay. I am a 36G prepregnancy, I can never find a bra in my size in store for less than $100. But now I buy them online and can get 3-5 for that price. It is great!

@missrain: Ugh I can completely sympathise! I am an H pre pregnancy…UGH!! I have brought 3 maternity bras and they are fab from this online store. Im not sure how their international postage etc works but the ladies are really helpful so might be able to give you a hand. And their bras are gorgeous, very similar to what I would wear pre pregnancy and not some lumpy, brown, cotton thing…

Ok ladies! I just returned from Motherhood Maternity and I am so excited! Granted I am not as big as some of the ladies here, but it seems as though the Motherhood Maternity bras size larger than regular bras. I was trying on the E’s but they seemed too big, so I downsized to their D or Dirty Delete and they fit amazingly! On regular bras I tried on DDD from Target or stores alike and they fit so crappy! The best thing is the bras were like $20-$30 a piece and on top of that they were running a sale ‘Buy 3 get the 4th for free’. I am so excited!!! I bought 3 wireless bras (that actually look like cute real bras) and a pair of sleeping bras. So thank you @MBtheGirl: for the Motherhood Maternity suggestion!
