Ok here is the deal. I have a matron of honor and a maid of honor and I dont know how to dress them . The maid of honor wants a certain style dress and the matron of honor wants a one shoulder style dress. Both dresses are beautiful but with thoses 2 different style dresses and the bridesmaid style dress, its tooo many different styles and its clashing . My wedding party is not formal looking anymore. It looks more like a formal prom with eveybody wearing the same color, and I dont want that.
Do you guys think I should haver them wear the same style dress with like a different sash or something? Or maybe the same style dress with a different bouquet…Im so lost.
Help ladies!!!!!How would you dress your matron of honor and your maid of honor. I mean I want them both to love their dress and stand out from the rest of the party as well as each other. If you have pics of your maid of honor and matron of honor please post so I can get some ideas.

I had all of my ladies wear the same dresses, so I guess I’m not a lot of help here.

Would one of them object to wearing a shaw or something? Or maybe they could have the same dress. Just make sure their dresses and bouquets are different from the rest of your bridesmaids. This way, it will be clear that these two are your maid and matrons of honor. The maids of honor are usually expected to have different dresses than the bridesmaids anyway. I think either way they will look very nice.

In every wedding I’ve been in, every girl wore the exact same dress, and the only wedding I’ve been to in which one girl was dressed in the same color but a different dress was when that girl was pregnant and couldn’t wear the same dress as everyone else. If you want the cohesive look you seem to be going for, then I think you should put your entire bridal party in teh same dress and make these two out by giving them slightly larger bouquets, somewhere between your maids’ and your own.
