- Wedding: May 2014
1. When were your invites sent and when is your wedding?
Invites sent March 21, RSVP date April 23, wedding is May 24. We made the date early because we know how our people roll. 🙂
2. What percentage of your guest list (including you and FI) have RSVPed ((# responded divided by # invited)*100)?
By the deadline, about 65% of people had RSVPed. By May 1st, it was 75%. We started with phone calls at that point. The hold outs were my parent’s friends, mostly.
3. What’s your acceptance rate for those who have RSVPed? ((# of yeses divided by total # of responses)*100)
We invited a TON of kids knowing that the parents probably wouldn’t bring them, and included plus ones to a few people who I knew wouldn’t bring plus ones. We ended up with a 59% acceptance rate, because most people didn’t bring their babies or plus ones. Excluding all the kids and plus ones, it was around 75%.
We were shooting for 145-155 people to attend the wedding. 139 actually attended. SO we were 11 under the sweet spot.
4. Favorite note written on a RSVP card/online RSVP?
“I’m so excited!” Simple, but made me smile. 🙂
