I’m 6 days after you all, but there aren’t alot of other May 31 bees, so I’ll weigh in here!

Still need to:

Put together centerpieces.

Decorate tent.

Get final quote from caterer.

Still awaiting RSVP’s- will have to count tonight!

Have bridal shower- set for 3 wks prior to wedding.

Pick up tables/benches from FI’s uncle’s garage and set up.

Get license- will do that next week!

Boudoir photo shoot for FI’s gift- set in 3 weeks (so why can I not say “No!” to carbs?)

Wow!  I can’t think of much else, so I am encouraged and maybe I’ll have a glass of wine and relax this evening instead of worrying that I have too much to do!

Congratulations, fellow May Bees!

@peppybride:  we are doing oot bags since everyone is traveling for the wedding, most of the guests are staying in the hotel.  i bought a lot of the stuff from dollar tree, sales at target.  I dont know how much they cost per each one but for us it was worth it

I had my final fitting today, and of course with my serious case of bride brain I forgot my long line bra.  But it fits anyway, just need it to boost the girls up more

Man I have lots to do too just like all you guys.. and infact have helped me to add some things to my list.

I also did Out of Town bags (that I can’t finalize putting together until I get up to Michigan cause half the items are at my parents house and half are at mine) but because we’re all Out of Town I wanted to do them.. and I saw these bags on weddingchicks and couldn’t help myself (since I’m from IL and my fiance is from New Orleans and we’re getting married in Michigan)!

As far as my list. This is what I have:

Print and assemble program, finishing printing info sheets for Out of Town bags, creat ceremony wording/flow, seating arrangement, groomsmen gifts, MOB gift, FOG gift, buy garters, finish putting together Out of Town bags, make sparkleballs, order paper laterns, figure out how to line the inside of the tent with fabric, buy gossamer, and order flowers (we’re DIYing)

Event related things to do:

Get my hair trimmed, boudoir shoot, final dress fitting, bridal shower, bachelorette party

Whew I’m tired just thinking about it!

Ugh I am debating the out-of-town bags but I’m not sure that I have the funds or the sanity to go there.

Two weeks to go!

And we decided to go with the bags, we will only need 20 or so, and can get snacks from BJs for cheap, so this will not be too much of an extra cost and I think it will be worth it, many of the guests had to stay two nights due to the holiday weekend :/
