I currently lost my job and have about 7 months left til our wedding,Mar 22. But now with everything due soon, like deposit for caterer and venue…we may have to delay it:( We have worked so hard and were ahead as far as $$. Had to pay bills and what not. Now back to having nothing saved. Been together 7 years and dual military( prior Navy) we have been waiting for this for a long time. I hope to God we don’t. Anyone out there had to push their’s back???

We just recently pushed our wedding back from September 2012 to December 2012. We did this because we are getting married in St. Thomas on the beach and we decided we didnt want to take a chance with hurricane season and decided to get out of it ASAP. While I do wish I could marry my best friend in Sept 2012 as originally planned, I feel much better knowing we wont have to worry about the weather. I also get more time to be engaged to my amazing fiance, more time to save money and enjoy my engagement. I think pushing your wedding back a couple months isn’t a bad thing and it will give you more time to save money and not have to stress about your vendor payments. Good luck! 🙂
