Something borrowed: a handkerchief from my future sister-in-law
Something blue: a piece of my grandfather’s shirt sewn into the lining of my dress

Something old – a ring of my FH’s late mom. She passed away very tragically when he was 15.
Something new – my dress
Something borrowed – ring from my best friend
Something blue – my teal blue boots and my Denver Broncos garter.

MrsRobinson2be2014: Your something blue just brought a tear to my eye. My hope was to find a blue shirt from my grandfather and do what you did, but it just didn’t work out. He will certainly be shining down his love for you!

something old: my grandmother’s wedding ring, that has been passed down and is around 100 years old. something new: my dress. something borrowed: my nanna’s pearls. something blue: bright blue glitter heels.

Mine didn’t really come together until the day of my wedding!
Old: antique crystal necklace and a ring that I always wear on my right hand that Maid/Matron of Honor & I got together years ago on a trip to Mexico
New: dress, shoes, veil, undies
Borrowed: crystal earrings from my mom
Blue: a little ribbon sewn into the inside of my dress, clutch, nail polish for my toes

Thank you. That’s my pet peeve! Why does everybody forget about the sixpence? It’s supposed to bring prosperity and good luck. I feel terrible for that poor little coin because everybody ignores it.
