I did Insanity during the fall but took a break once I finished the series, I’ll be picking it back up after the first of the year. I am looking to lose about 7-10 pounds and tone up.

I am both a runner and a weight-lifter, so I am just working hard to keep my routine as routine as possible. I haven’t been to the gym in about two weeks for the holidays, but plan to get back into it tonight/next week.

i want to lose 10 to 15 before then so I’m going to really clean up my eating and drinking and hit the gym at least 4 Times a week. my biggest issue is the drinking (I work at a wine bar and man, I love wine) but consistently work out so hopefully it’ll come off fast

I think I’m going to do the JM videos in the morning and my elliptical in the evening and REALLY watch everything that goes in my mouth. I’mreally interested in toning my arms and losing about 20 pounds. Luckily my corset back dress should be easily adjustable!

I lost a bit of extra weight – 5 to 10 pounds maybe? – just due to lifestyle change. (I moved and now can walk almost everywhere I need to go). Now I feel like I’m at a happy weight, but am trying to tone up. I’m a virgin bride and am really nervous about showing my body to my husband. Mostly focusing on abs, which are in good but not great condition, and inner thighs, which are currently horrid.

My Maid/Matron of Honor and I signed up for partner personal training at our gym and I’ve been more diligent about watching what I eat. I’ve lost about 5lbs since I got engaged (back to the weight I was when I met my FH), and I want to lose about 5 more.

I’m actually not too concerned about the number of pounds, but I want to lose about half an inch around my waist and hips (which I’m guessing is about 5lbs). I’ve actually lost about half an inch in the past 6 weeks when I got serious about watching my diet. I need to take my dress to get altered by the end of the month, so that’s my goal date.

I’m trying to cut calories – getting to the gym is really hard for me because of my commute and work schedule, so right now I just want to see what I can acomplish with a little dieting. I have begun to use the FitnessPal on my iPhone, which counts calories for you. I set my goal and my daily intake is 1350 calories. I have also stopped drinking alcohol during the week and have given myself a calendar of “don’ts”. January – NO Fried Food. February – NO Bread (with exception of tortillas and wraps). March – NO Cheese (with exception of in-recipe non fat cheeses). April – NO Soda or Beer. May – NO Fried Food.

Let’s see how this works for me!! I hope to lose around 10-15 pounds!

i cut wheat/gluten especially out of my diet, feel tons better! and im walking away the fat, its working out quite well for me. losing weight for the wedding aslo made me realize im gluten intolerant, i didnt know for the longest time, that your body is not supposed to be that uncomfortable after eating, shame it took me almost 26 years to find out!

Glad you started this thread – it’s encouraging!

I’m trying to be more consistent about exercising. I’ve been doing cardio/kickboxing workouts from Sparkpeople on Youtube and lately my fiancee and I have been learning dances like the Hustle of Youtube. Cheesy but it is a good workout and also fun! Anyway I’m trying to lose 10 or 15 pounds by the big day, but just having more energy and being more toned would be big pluses too.

Hey ladies, I’m getting married in May 2013.  I;m trying to lose about 15-20 pounds at least.  I had a miscarriage last year and gained all the weight i had lost back, and am trying to get back down for the wedding.  Any suggestions for me would be appreciated.  I’m thinking about going low carb no sugar and exercise a little

I want to lose 15 pounds and try to tone up my arms. Myfitnesspal is what I’m using. I fell off the wagon, but I’m getting back on tomorrow and going for gold!
