I’ve lost 50 pounds so far with Jillian Michaels. I just bought her new workout, the Body Revolution. It’s a 90 day program (I’m 124 days away from the BIG DAY!) So i’m hoping to lose at least another 10 pounds and tone up!

I got this! Good luck girls!

I’m watching my cals and going to start working out after work. I’m petite, but really out of shape and weigh the most I’ve ever weighed.

I’ll play! I’m eating mostly paleo and changed up my workout routine. I was a little bored of running so I switched it up for cardio circuits and am keeping with 2-3x a week body pump (weight class). I’m aiming for 6 workouts a week. The diet is the major change for me. I miss bread soooo much! To train I’m using Nike Training Club which is an awesome iphone app that leads you through circuits. love it!

I started the day after Christmas on the plan. I have lost 5 pounds so far which puts me back to what I weighed when Fiance and I met. I don’t know how much more I want to lose – probably between 5 and 10 pounds.

I recently moved and had delayed getting back to the gym.  I’m not a fan of “big box” gyms, and am spending way too much money on a Crossfit style gym… but I love it and how I feel after accomplishing my daily workout.  Rather than having a goal in mind for the wedding, I’m trying to just get in better shape in general.  We’ll see how it goes.  I’m aiming to get up to 5-6 days/wk.  Additionally, I’m tracking my food with MyFitnessPal, an app available for smartphones.  You can also track on their website.  I find it’s really helpful to see what’s going into my mouth, and how much all the little things add up.  Good luck all!!

Prior to getting engaged I’d lost about 27 lbs. really by just watching what I was eating. Post-engagement I did the Biggest Loser Kinect work out 6 days/week and it was awesome and really took off a lot of weight. I then began cutting that down to a few days a week and running the other days. Now I run 4 days and do yoga 2-3 days. Diet wise I’ve been vegetarian for years and I just eat tons of produce, healthy fats, and enjoy some dark chocolate and red wine in the evenings. Just recently I cut out all dairy and feel amazing.Oh and I’ve lost in total 61~ lbs.

@bluebelle It’s ABSOLUTELY worth it! The amount of information that’s included, you get a 90 day journal to track results, a shopping list, menu. She practically tells you what to eat every day to stay healthy and keep within your calorie budget.

Your wedding is a once in a life time (hopefully!) thing! Why not splurge to look your damn best?

I signed up to run a half marathon 1 month before the wedding. It is motivating me to stay on track with my training and muscle toning for the big day!

Went vegetarian for the new year with a major focus on vegan recipes.

I’m trying to go for extra walks with the dog and am doing arm and thigh exercises every other day.  Gotta tone up for my sleeveless dress!

I’m doing the 20ish minutes/day Jillian Michaels 30 day shred in the mornings… and at night I either do her kickboxing quick fix, or julian’s dancing video, or when I feel extra flabby I do the JM Abs one… and on weekends Pilates or yoga! (This is just really starting to happen this week.. we’ll see how long it lasts, it’s hard with 2 jobs and 60hr work weeks :S)

@LNJohnson:  That is crazy! Is it your first or are you a seasoned runner?

@toqitoes:  I was NOT a runner, could not run for 3 minutes without stopping. Last summer (2012) I decided I needed something motivating and signed up for my first half which I completed in September! I am living proof that ANYONE can do it 🙂 All it takes is 12 weeks and lots of determination. I have even convinced my Fiance to run this one with me!

After my hyst last summer, I put on 30lbs.  So I’ve been working since the first part of December to get that off.  I’ve lost 13 over the holidays!  Just limiting calories, especially carbs, which are my weakness, and exercising some.  If I lose very much, my dress will have to be taken in, but I would rather be healthy and thinner and spend the money to tailor it than to feel uncomfortably overweight.

My Fiance enjoys my cooking and he works physically very hard, so he can actually eat alot and I love to cook for him.  I just have to eat about 1/4 what he does and I’ll be fine. Tongue Out

Another lady I work with has committed to working out 3 times a week and helping to hold eachother accountable to do it.  And I am trying to help my retired mom, who I live with until I get married, get out and socialize, so we are looking in to line dancing lessons.

How did you running-bees get started?  I would love to be a runner, but fear hurting my knees/feet/shins by starting out wrong.  Plus I live where the weather is a factor and would have to run on public roadways, although in a smallish town.
