singingbee5 :  Thank you! The center stone is a garnet. It has so many different colors. Very dark almost black in certain lighting and goes from reddish to a deep purple or pink in brighter lighting. I thought I wanted a diamond or at least a white stone but when I tried this one on I fell in love. Plus we got engaged in January and that’s the January stone. It’s from an independent jewelry designer in Brooklyn and she also designed the curved band that goes with it. I LOVE the baguettes on your rings! Congrats!

I love your new mismatched band, and the sentiment behind the original!

I decided on a matching band. I may incorporate additional ring styles into the mix for stacking later on!

singingbee5 :  thank you! It’s a white sapphire main stone, and she throws some beautiful blues in low light 😍

I love mixing and I really love how your grandmother’s band looks with your ring

I adore the mismatched band. I have a very classic 6 prong round cut with 4 tiny stones on each side, so I want to add some contrast with the band as well. You will probably see my post soon! haha but I love the idea of wearing the sentimental one as a RHR and having the contrast for your wedding band.

I love the twisty band of my engagement ring, but the matching band was a little too much for my taste. I went with something a little funkier.

singingbee5 :  Your rings are lovely! I don’t think they need to be a perfect match… they still look nice together. Mind are a LOT wider because I’ve got very old hands. LOL

Love everyone’s sets! The one I picked is basically matching, aside from the stones being a bit larger than the ones in my e-ring (20 pointers vs 15)
