Mine is set SUPER high – almost the entire stone is above the halo, but I like it. And I’ve never had a problem hitting it on anything or having it catch.

mrslerca:  I’ve never had any issues, and I only take it in once every 4 months for its quarterly inspection. 🙂 I should mention that I never wear it at home though, only when I am out of the house. At home, I prefer to be jewelry-free (and bra-free most of the time haha), so that probably helps ie I don’t wear it gardening, clearning, sports, sleeping, showering, etc.

mrslerca:  Yes! My kids’ gingerbread house! I needed something to prop my ring on to get a steady shot.

mrslerca:  i haven’t figured out what I’m doing as far as wedding bands – the small side diamonds will be covered by my band. Ive tried on a couple of thin micro pave bands but theres a pretty big gap because of the halo which im not a fan of and I don’t like the curved band look so I have no idea what I’m going to do!

mrslerca:  Ya, lots of details, i feel like everytime i stare at it, i notice something new lol. Its a round diamond center 🙂

The band tapers a little cause its not that wide all around of course. so the halo is 10mm, the band, closer to the top is 7mm, narrows down to 5mm in between my fingers, and then 3mm underneath.

As far as height, it raises 7mm above my finger, but doesnt ever get snagged on anything!!

Here is mine. The story is Fiance had it custom made to be this br because he didn’t like how low the ones hey had sat.

as for the diamond, I like how it sits a little higher. It gives it more shine.

mrslerca:  all the stones are a g it gives off amazing colours especially in sunlight or led lights, my fiancé orignally had it set in a solitaire knowing I wanted a halo but so many different ways of setting it, I finally decided on the double halo square setting with blunt corners platinum head gold band.  Initially I was really worried about the size as it is 15mm square….. But I totally love it.
