I have a half carat princess cut halo on a cathedral setting. At first when I first had my size 7 ring on my finger for a week I did think it was a little too high but I got used to it before I had to turn it in to get it resized to a 6. (Havent had it for three long weeks)! Since I got it back I do feel a bit ootsy on the cathedral now…   :/ it feels different now haha. Just gotta get used to it again 🙂 its a 6.25 though haha. And Fiance kept on telling me to get a 6 so it can stay tight. I Didnt listen as stubborn as i am. I wanted a 6.25 because I just know by the summer my fingers will blow up like huge sausages!  Well I got what I wanted but it’s still loose.

I know I should have listened to him but I don’t like too tight rings on my finger. What would happen if I got pregnant on he next two years or gained weight? With my wedding band I think it be as tight its going to get with both of them together. As of right now I have a very thin ring guard. Barely noticeable. So its cool now. :))

The cathedral shot was when it was a size 7 if it makes any difference

Here’s a side view of my halo. It’s pretty delicate,  but it’s a rhr and therefore not worn every day. I’ve had it for a year and so far no issues with catching or losing stones.

mrslerca:  my halo sits right around the girdle of the stone. If the stone has a great cut then no it won’t effect the sparkle at all.
