We are using a suitcase style box I found at Michael’s. I don’t have a picture of it right now but I can post one later if you’d like. I haven’t decided if I will cut a slot in it or have it sitting open for people to put their cards in.

@prisigtr:  Here is ours. This was a DIY project I started but, Fiance took over. Ha! I (still) just need to add velcro to the top to close.

This is the card box we’re using.. luckily it also doubles as home decor so the investment is justifiable! It was about $100 for the pair. We are having a romantic, french-style reception.

Do you have theme your going for? The one I really like for the rusticy theme is this one:

I like the idea of having it sitting open on the table but I feel think you then won’t see the pretty outside of it very much. But I’m also worried about messing up cutting the slot in it. So still have to decide on that. We also don’t have a theme so I kind of feel like this won’t go with anything. But our venue is an old mansion so it kind of goes with that.

ETA: Our honeymoon is going to be Disney World so I thought it would be cool to replace the Paris stuff with Disney stuff. If I could figure out how to do it… It would fit with your wedding too!

Finished mine this weekend! One of many DIY projects there is a slit in the top for the cards to go in and glittrr letters that say “cards”

Okayl- Probably not what you’re going for, but I just loved my card box and have to share. We had a relaxed Pizza and beer theme.  Two nights before I realized I didnt’ have a card box! So I wrapped leftover tulle and pinned an extra hair flower to a beer bucket to get this.

Sounds a bit tacky, but I think it fit our reception perfectly. Laughing  So go with what fits you guys!
