@melisslp:  I’m sorry about AF. I’m having a few twingy moments that make me think she’s getting ready to show here too. πŸ™

I’d definitely ask re; the testing. It can’t hurt – worst they can say is no, come back in a month. I wish I’d been more aggressive sooner. (I always seemed to get people who didn’t think my age was a problem, so they gave me the run around. So frustrating.)

Hugs. xx

@RubyCali:  How long have you been TTC?? Not interested in charting? My husband works crazy shifts too; they are 72 hours long where I literally cannot BD for three days every.single.week. So I feel your pain that!! It’s frustrating, when I didn’t O on time I was like watch, I bet I’m going to O smack in the middle of one of his shifts. And I didn’t! So we shall see. I’m trying to not even be optimistic, just trying to not think about the next 15 or so days of my life. lol!

@melisslp:  What is the testing for, if you don’t mind me asking?

@ChuckNorris:  This is our 5th month. I haven’t done any charting because I’m always very regular and I use OPK’s, but if this month is negative I’m thinking I may give it a go. I see posts with FF charts and it all just looks very intimidating!  And I so feel your pain with your husband’s shifts… but 72 hours, now that is brutal!!

@RubyCali:  You know, I was very overwhelmed too. I took it slow though. Read through all of the Fertility Friend tutorials first (okay…confession. Read like 6 of the FF tutorials. Barely skimmed the rest). And just started taking my temp. It kinda makes sense after a short while =) But HOPEFULLY this will be your month for a BFP and you won’t have to go that route at all!!!!!!! What are you doing to keep your mind busy during this TWW??

@hamikay:  Sorry about your BFN…I ALWAYS start within a couple of hours of POAS so I know how you feel.

@DiamondsandLace:  I’ve been at the crossroads many many times.  I think AF is just a major letdown and you feel like you need a break.  And you’re right, 4 months may not seem like a lot but it DOES consume you.  Most of my mommy friends weren’t even TTC when they got pregnant and it makes you wonder WHY ME?

@BirdofaFeather:  Congrats!  DH and I go camping all the time and AF usually makes her grand appearane.  I’m tired of going on trips and having to make sure I pack enough “girly” products…

I was hoping to come back from Paris and see a ton of good news.  I’m still a few days away from POAS and my boobs are full and sore….typical PMS for me.  I don’t care though…I had a great time with DH, got my mind off the TWW, and walked probably 10 miles.  DH told me this morning he really wants to WORK at it next month if it doesn’t happen…hum, I thought we were???  πŸ™

@texasbee:  your holiday sounds amazing!! and had to laugh at your hubby – sounds a bit like mine πŸ˜‰ (and my response!!) if only he knew what the inside of my brain sounded like for the few months… “babies, pregancy, CM, ovulating, babies, babies, babies…”!!!

@melisslp:  At 41 I’d press for some more testing. At least you’d know if you had a hormone issue or a tube issue. If you numbers look good and your tubes are okay they may let you continue to try on your own for a while.

@DiamondsandLace:  So glad to hear we’ll still have you here in our lovely may poas club! I’m thinking nothing but good baby dust thoughts for you, my dear. Your weekend sounded so relaxing (we had antipasti too!)  and I love that you get to have some bubbly for your anniversary celebration πŸ™‚

We’ll get there, ladies. And I’m so happy we have each other.

As for me, today is AF’s scheduled day (I have a 10 day LP) and yesterday I had the weirdest milky discharge. And i have some mild back and tummy cramping. I typically spot a few days before AF, but so far, nada. Also, no sore breasts, nausea, crazy appetite or lethargy. I’m so floored how different everyone’s experiences are! so whie I wait, i will try not to read into these signs or lack of…. I’m just crossing my fingers and toes!!!

@ChuckNorris:  It’s funny, but TTC is actually my sanity this month. Work is just out of control crazy so this gives me something to focus on outside of work, and hopefully something to (potentially) look forward to. Aside from that, I’m distracting myself with my new favorite show (Friday Night Lights on Instant Netflix), researching salad “recipes” for the Salad Club I’m starting at work, and enjoying the beautiful beach weather. What are you doing to keep your mind off of things?!

@texasbee:  I’m so glad you had a great time in Paris! I was there last fall and would go back in a heart beat. Where did you go when you were there? You must live relatively close to be able to make a weekend trip out of it?

@DiamondsandLace:  I think I must have missed your first post, but I’m sorry about AF’s arrival πŸ™ Your day yesterday sounds amazingly relaxing. I hope that you feel rejuvenated and ready for the next month (on the May boards with us!)

@JCar:  “We are just not a couple that can keep BDing every other day. DH has limits lol” — YES!!! I’m thinking that if AF shows up this time I’m going to buy the expensive OPK so I can pinpoint most accurately. Otherwise DH might really start getting tired ….

Well at this point I’m 7DPO and still planning to POAS Friday morning before my parents get into town for their visit. I have ZERO symptoms. Nada. But that being said, I also have no PMS symptoms – so maybe that’s good?  Typically I start getting super-moody a few days before AF shows, so I’m going to have to ask my paralegal how the next two days go. He may be the best test I have until Friday.
