Back to CD1! I’m not sure whether we are going to be trying this cycle or not. I’ll let you guys know when we decide whether I’m in or out. Good luck, everyone!

@texasbee:  No, you were right! CD1 means I got AF today. She was laaaate. Super late. Yesterday was 16DPO, so that was the longest LP I’ve ever had. I was on progesterone supplements and it dragged my LP out.

Hi Ladies!!

I am a long time lurker and lover here and now that we have been TTC for 3 months I thought it would be a good time to make it official! I am currently on CD 17 and impatiently waiting for the O! Based on past charts I typically O around CD 19 or 20 so hopefully soon. It is killing me waiting for the O to get here I can’t imagine how bad the TWW will be!

This is my first month trying the OPKs and I had a quick question about them. Is there any correlation between seeing a test line(and the darkness of it) and how close you are to ovulation? For example, before yesterday I have never had seen a test line. Yesterday I saw one, though still fainter than the control. I know this means it was negative but I thought it might indicate the O was getting close? But when I tested again today there was no line to be seen. Is it normal to see a pattern, or is it just random until you ovulate?

I look at this thread all the time now that was are really trying hard for a baby and all of you are such an inspiration! Good luck and baby dust to everyone!

@alibee:  Welcome! I only exited lurker status about 2 weeks ago myself. Not sure that I could make it through the TWW without the Bees.

@alibee:  Everyone’s a little different when it comes to OPKs, but quite a few ladies (myself included) get a ‘fade-in’ pattern. When I use OPKs, I start to see a faint line 5 days or so before I ovulate. Then it gets progressively darker until its positive. However, I know that if I don’t take the test at exactly the same time each day (5:00), or if my pee is more diluted, the fade in isn’t totally reliable.

While your line yesterday could mean that O is coming soon, I wouldn’t rely on it until your OPK is totally positive. Hope that helps!

ETA: Oh, and welcome!

@alibee: welcome! I’ve noticed a fade in pattern as well on OPKs where it gradually gets darker until its positive.

CD6 here…about a week to go before BD counts.

Mood: feeling down today. Another person at my job announced she’s expecting. I really just want this to be our month.

@luli29:  I completely understand. It’s like as soon as we started trying everybody and their mom is getting KU!

@luli29:  I’m sorry you’re feeling down. *HUGS* Soooo many of my friends are getting accidentally pregnant. Not one person I know is actively trying. So I have no one to personally relate to. All I have is watching my friends in admiration with their beautiful baby bumps… You bees are all I have…

@ChuckNorris:  It’s so hard being the odd one out in real life, isn’t it? 🙁
