@JCar: You are definitely pregnant… congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw awhile back on here a thread about different ways girls told their DH’s they were pregnant. One I always thought was cute was to stick a bun in the oven. I was planning on doing that and then asking DH to preheat the oven for me for dinner, but to make sure he checked their weren’t any pans in there. And then he would be like “There’s a bun in the oven??”.. oh yes there is! Kind of corny but I like it. It is perfect timing for father’s day too!

3 dpo for me and this TWW is killing me! Although I will certainly not wait that long, will mostly likely start testing the 23rd. Good luck to everyone else who has testing coming up!

And, I’m out.  AF hasn’t reared her ugly face yet, but my temp has dropped pretty dramatically the last two mornings.  BLAH.

@bunny:  Thanks!  I told DH once he got home from work last night (which felt like forever).  I ended up finding a really good Daddy To Be card for Father’s Day and put in all four pregnancy tests I took (I also took a digital).  He was shocked and I think speechless.  He kept walking around and saying “Oh my God.”  He’s definitely excited though.

@alibee:  Thanks!  I like your bun in the oven idea.  However, I don’t think DH would have picked up on it.  He probably just would have thought I went nuts. lol

I’m out! It’s ok though, we were supposed to wait for AF to start trying again anyway. I’m glad to officially (physically) be moving on and starting fresh. It’s too bad she had to show for our anniversary trip though πŸ™

I’m out too. I’m pretty sad about it this time around as this will now be our 6th month, which I guess puts me in the “6 months and up” group now. Should I be worried by this? I am almost sure I am ovulating because I get + OPKs at the same time each month and I am super regular. DH and I are 29/28 and healthy.  As I’ve said before, I didn’t think it would take long because of how “fertile” all the women in my family are (not to mention my friends!).  I cried last night and DH just held me and said that everything will be okay. Sorry for the pity party, just feeling down as I drink my regular coffee this morning (the one bright spot!).

@RubyCali:  Aww lady, I am so sorry that you’re feeling down. I ALMOST cried last night for similar reasons but I fought it… I have been fighting a breakdown for like three days; not sure how much longer I can do it. Try not to worry about it taking six months; it goes by soo quickly and it takes that long for many many many couples. Hugs to you

@RubyCali:  I’m so sorry dear.  AF started for me last Thursday so now I’m gearing up for O, but I’m starting my 6th cycle, too.  The only thing that kept me from settling into a funk was that I kept thinking about how January would be stressful for maternity leave due to not having as much PTO in the new year (we can only roll over 40 hours).  The more PTO the better financially since I won’t be paid for the whole time off.  But it’s getting harder each month.  I really am so inspired by the 6 month and up ladies though.  I don’t think you need to be worried yet.  Sometimes it just takes awhile.  Sending you lots of hugs and virtual chocolate!

I feel ridiculous that I’m still continuing to POAS, but I am…every single morning. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my missed period (totally regular 28/29 day cycles before that). I finally saw a doctor on Monday (took a blood test that was negative) and he said he wants to do a blood test for the next three weeks (if AF doesn’t show), but he said I could still be pregnant and it’s just not showing up on a HPT. Still, I’m quickly losing hope, especially from everything I’ve read online about getting a positive 2+ weeks out (note to self: stop googling things). I’m truly amazed at how complex the body really is; I really just figured a missed perioed = positive test. I feel ignorant for not knowing more about this.
