I wouldn’t think she’d be getting any money from it since it’s based on Jeff Ashton’s book.  She didn’t get royalties from the book, so I’d say the same for the movie.

I haven’t heard about the no more kids thing.  She’s stated before that she wants more, so who knows.  She definitely doesn’t deserve to have any more!

I have no idea about the movie thing, but it is completely unconstituional for the Court to order to have no more kids, so that’s definitely not true.

Here’s the cast and crew list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2216088/

She isn’t credited anywhere, so I dont think she will make any money from it.

Yeah, no way the goverement can control her reproductive system so that is 100% false. If the movie is based off someone else’s book then I can’t imagine she will make money. Also, who the heck wants to make, let alone watch a movie about a mom who “allegedly” killed her daughter and got away with it? And its real, a real little girl actually died.

Ok, here we go: http://www.womensforum.com/casey-anthony-lifetime-movie.html

“One condition of Casey Anthony’s acquittal was that the young mother cannot ever profit from selling her story. Casey Anthony is not legally allowed to make any money from the Lifetime film that will star Rob Lowe as a lawyer for the Casey Anthony defense.”

I think it’s pathetic that they are even making a movie about her..she is the lowest of the low and I wish it WAS constitutional to somehow make it to where she’d never be able to have kids again. Lifetime in prison would have taken care of that but unfortunately she wasn’t found guilty.

@Reeniero:  This doesn’t make any sense. A jury’s job is determine if the prosecution proved their case. Guilty/Not Guilty. They have no authority to go around adding conditions.

@Natalieh86:  I think it was a condition set by the judge. Either way, I’m not an expert in the case, I just pasted what I read from the article I linked to.

@Reeniero:  Oh I know it was a quote, I just think whoever wrote the article didn’t know what they were talking about. A judge can’t enforce “conditions” on an acquittal either.

I think in this particular case it’s difficult because so many people thought she was guilty, but at the end of the day she was a person acquitted of a crime. We don’t want to live in a society that takes rights away from people based on crimes they were accused of and acquitted from.

However, exercising your right to avoid this movie at all cost and boycott whoever is involved in the production is totally fair game. Althought to be honest, I’m kind of a sucker for crappy Lifetime movies like this. It will be hard for me to resist.
