…is one stamp usually good enough for the invitations or are most people putting two? We have a 5×7 regular weight card stock invite with an RSVP card, a directions card and hotel accomodations card all of which are about 4×5 each. Oh and the RSVP envelope. Is one stamp on the invite enough?

For us the postage price changed depending on the size of the envelope. We also had a bow, which made the envelope non-machineable because it was too thick. I would bring one invitation to the post office and they will tell you what you need.

If you take a completed invitation to the post office, they will weigh it and let you know what kind of stamps you need. Some wedding invitations are extra postage, and some are not.

Yes you need to go in and check. When you do that also check what kinds of stamps they have available!

It depends on weight and if it’s machineable or not. Take one sample to the post office and you’ll know for certain! 🙂

Ok thanks guys! We actually bought our stamps already but just enough for one on the invite and one on the RSVP. I completely forgot that they might be more than one! I will take one to the post office today. thanks 🙂
