I’m a tad partial but anything ‘i-related’ I tend to stear clear of.  I have no idea what that is.

@eebgniddew:  I’m not so sure that I would trust it. Those sort of apps usually only apply to women who have perfect 28 day cycles and ovulate on cycle day 14.

I had downloaded one prior to me using fertility friend and it said that I was Oing a week before I normally do.

I agree with @chelles07, those apps tend to assume a cycle length of 28 days with O on day 14 of your cycle.  Not very helpful for most women who do not ovulate on day 14.  So far I tend to ovulate between day 16-20.  If I had tried to use those apps, I would never get pregnant!  I do recommend fertility friend though.  You can get it for the ipad/iphone and it will learn your cycles and change the predicted O dates to fit your body.  Mine has predicted correctly now for a few months in a row.  It can also help you identify any potential issues with your cycle such as a short LP.  I would recommend charting and using fertility friend to best help you determine when you ovulate.  OPKs are great too but they don’t confirm you are in fact ovulating.  Only temping can do that.  Good luck!

Just like @MrsEagleEye: and @chelles07:  I  Agree! The only way to know when you ovulate is to start charting/temping. Fertility friend is a great suggestion. Those apps say you ovulate on day 14. I have a 29 day cycle and don’t ovulate until day 19.

I have to agree with PP’s, Fertility Friend is the way to go if you are really wanting to know all the correct info.

Just checked it out. I’m totally not paying $5 for an app I know nothing about that doesn’t have a lite version I can try out first LOL

I will third fertility friend! I used it to chart for 4 months before we were ready to TTC and it helped me a TON with identifying my O date and that I had a shortened LP. When we were ready to TTC, it happened first try thanks to FF helping me time intercourse. It’s a great website & app!
