The dress is beautiful.

I do not however see this dress on a ‘young’ bride (when I think young I think 20’s). It is a more mature vibe, to me.

All that matters is that YOU look good in the dress. Remember that fashion goes through phases. Lace was once considered old-fashioned but now it’s red hot. Your dress is classically beautiful and will not date

Love the bodice, the bottom not so much but I’m not a ball gown fan anyway. The dress doesn’t scream young to me but it doesn’t really scream mature either, that style could be worn at any age. I think the style is more traditional/classic vs trendy and in my opinion it’s usually younger girls who go for trendy. What really matters is how you feel in it.

I think the dress looks luxurious and beautiful and you look beautiful in it.  For heaven’s sake, look at you- no one is going to think you look old!  Don’t overthink it.

It’s a beautiful dress – not “mature” at all!

I love the bodice! so pretty! I’m not a huge fan of satin, I prefer tulle so I’m not much of a fan of the bottom.  It is a very beautiful dress with nice detailing.

We’re all different. My wedding gown is an all-over lace fit-and-flare. My little brother tells me, “Lace dresses are for old people.” But I still love my dress because it’s me. Your dress is very princessy, so if that screams you, then don’t worry about it looking “old”. I think it’s a beautiful dress and frankly think it’s one that can suit quite a wide age range! 🙂

I think you look great! Doesn’t look old at all to me – ballgowns never really speak older to me. I also have an appliqué that goes into a V on my dress, I don’t think it looks weird – I just wonder if there is already enough sparkle and I shouldn’t wear a necklace at all? Beautiful dress 🙂

@DancingDiva:  To me, it looks like a nice balance between mature and sexy.  The low dip in the front and the appliques I think are what do it for me.

I had the same fear, that my dress was a little old-fashioned, but I’d rather look a little mature than like a little girl playing princess dress-up.  But that’s just me.
