BeeDD:  I read it a year ago and in one day! It’s an easy read but OMG did I cry!!  Read Love Rosie, Sam Clafin is in the movie as well, but the movie sucked. But the book is really cute. And I don’t want to spoil it but it was a bittersweet book.

I read it a while ago and loved it, can’t wait for the movie.  I’ll admit, I also bawled me eyes out.  If you haven’t already, you should check some other books by JoJo Moyes.  I really enjoyed One Plus One and The Girl You Left Behind.  I haven’t read After You yet, has anyone else?  I’ve been putting it off because I’m afriad I’ll be disappointed.

I loved that book, although I didn’t cry at the end. I thought they did a really tasteful job of wrapping it up and I was actually okay. But I had tears in my eyes during the scene on the beach, where she gets REALLY upset. I had to put the book down at that point and be sad for a while. I honestly couldn’t tell who was being more selfish, or even if either of them were being selfish at all. I guess you don’t know how you’d feel until you’re involved in something like that yourself.

I also bought The Girl You Left Behind, but haven’t read it yet. I really liked Moyes’s writing style. Nothing dragged on at all. I think I saw there is a sequel, as well?

I’m so excited for this movie, and I was going to read the book, but then when I went to order the book, I saw the sequel RIGHT UNDERNEATH IT, with a synopsis… So I knew all about the second book before the first one, lol. Still planning on reading it before the movie comes out though 😄

I read this last year and it is the only book that has ever made me teary – beach scene for me! I only bought it as it was in a 2 for £7 offer at the supermarket and I’m so glad I picked it up, it’s so difficult to put down once you get in to it! If you enjoyed Me Before You, I definitely recommend the follow on book, After You. I keep meaning to pick up more Jojo Moyes books as I enjoyed them two so much!

lolatheshowgirl:  The Ship of Brides was good, The Girl You Left Behind was amazing, still remember it like I am reading it right now. One Plus One was hard to start but turned out amazing.
