I don’t personally wear medical jewelery but one of my mother does and she is going to be wearing it big day, I made my BM’s and the mothers cuff bracelets (four strands of  pearls) to wear so it will cover up her medic alert. It isn’t really a big deal for her not to wear it either because enough of us know what her medical issues are that if there was an emergency we could inform paramedics or ER staff.

I personally wouldn’t… You’ll be surrounded by loved ones all day, so if (God forbid!) something should happen, there would be plenty of people around you who’d know what to do or what info to relay to paramedics, right?

I agree with seven12: if something happens to you at your wedding, won’t there be a ton of people around who can give instructions to the medics? I wouldn’t worry about not wearing your medic alert jewelry.

I agree with the PPs above. I’d plan to wear your own special wedding jewelry since there will be plenty of people around who can inform medical personnel if anything were to happen.

If you’re really concerned, maybe your seamstress can sew a little pocket into the inside of your gown by your heart so that your medallion will be there in case you do need medical assistance.
