I’m so sorry for your loss and then to have those wounds reopened by finding out there may have been medical negligence in his treatment. I lost my younger brother under very different circumstances (a suspected accidental drug overdose) about 3 months  and I’m concerned about how my parents will react once his final death certificate is released and it says something other than accidental overdose.

Saying prayers for your family. once your family is feeling strong enough, see if the local media is interested in the story. It would certainly get public attention to the cause. It’s so unfortunate that our troops cant always get access to the best medical care given all the sacrifices they make for the good of this country. My most sincere condolences for your family’s loss.

@Molly2014:  a family friend of ours lost a baby in a military hospital- something ridiculous like giving the baby nitrogen instead of oxygen or something like that- the baby suffocated and died. I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope you can bring attention to this problem so something good comes from this terrible situation. *hugs*
