I’m toying with the idea of buying a medicine ball (8 lbs).
I saw some core excercises in Women’s Health that I could do while watching T.V. but I’m wondering if anyone here has one and did you get any results? I’m a fan of exercising while watching T.V.
The article even said you could use a basketball. Seriously???
If you have a medicine ball, how much does yours weigh? Any pre-cautions I should know about?

i don’t own one, but we use medicine balls with our trainer at the gym all the time. it’s really great for ab workouts or even to use holding straight up over your head while doing lunges. i think it’s totally worth it to buy one.

i do a lot of exercises with a medicine ball – but it is particularly good for ab routines.

You can do any of those exercises with any kind of ball – but its nice to have the weight and size of a medicine ball. I would recommend starting with a ball that you already have lying around the house, and then if you like those exercises upgrade to a medicine ball. I don’t think they are overly expensive. We have one – but its sitting in our workout room (which is currently used for storage!!) and we never use it -lol.
