@allyfally: Often times rescues will supply you with everything you need….like crates, vet care, some will supply food as well…..alll you have to give them is love and attention until the right home comes along. Of course that means you have to dedicate time to going to adoption events and taking him to the vet, etc!
I’m telling you if you decide to do it it is very rewarding!
I can totally understand thou about not knowing how your dogs would react so you could always give in a trial run…..many rescues and super understanding and supportive of new fosters and just happy to have any help they can get!
You can also help in other ways like attending adoption events, volunteering at shelters-walking dogs, grroming, cleaning-etc……most will take any help they can get!
If you have any questions at all about it just let me know……girl if you were in Florida I’d totally drag your butt out to help me…..LOL

@weddingbound: Its definitely something I want to do in the future. I was actually going to foster for a pit bull rescue, a few years ago, but then I found a stray pit bull, and he ended up staying. So I’d probably be a foster failure anyways. 😛

@Pixie26: Yes I do but we have many fosters that work regular jobs that don’t work from home so you could still do it…..depending on if the dog could be crate trained. Puppies would be too hard but possibly you could an older potty trained dog!
Thanks ladies he is such a lil ham….I’m def in love already!
