That’s cool!!  Congrats on your new addition πŸ™‚

I used to have red eye tree frogs, they were so cool but a lot of work. I miss them

That’s terrifying. I was definitely expecting to see a cute little puppy or kitten when I opened this thread. Congrats on your new family member, though. πŸ™‚

AHHH! I’m with Cait.. I was thinking at most, a hedgehog (cause Tumble is a cute name! And would fit a hedgehog) but holy momma… SCARY thread.

Congrats, I think! Haha

I mean no offence by this, but I think I just had a minor heart attack. (I’m deathly afraid of them!)

@maudemaisha:  I feel the same way.  I would cry knowing it was in my house.  I remember my mom’s friend had a snake and knowing it was a room away from where we’d sleep creeped me out hardcore.

Congrats! She is beautiful πŸ™‚

LOL, Brother-In-Law has one of those, and it has this cutsy girly name. I was in a hallmark store with my mom, and i saw a little tiny spider ornament and we oohed and ahhed and bought it as a gift for “Emily” and the associate asked if we wanted her to wrap it and we said oh yes! And she asked who Emily was and so we told her “a pet tarrantula” and she looked like she was going to faint.

When he lived with us I used to tortue him by telling him I was ordering some my little pony furniture for her tank off of ebay.  The idea of this bad ass spider with a pink plastic counch and vanity totally made me howl.

So yeah, spiders make awesome pets.
