So pretty much all the photographers Fiance and I have contacted have suggested meeting at a local coffee shop to chat and look at their portfolios and what not. There are very few photographers who seem to have offices here, and those that do are VERY expensive (one has a basic package starting at $7,000 and all that gives you is photos of the ceremony and posed photos between the ceremony and reception then a few shots of the reception hall as guests enter. No getting ready photos, no photos of the first dance and father/daughter dance). I was just wondering if we meet a photographer at a coffee shop who pays? Is it the photographer, us or do we each pay for our own. I wouldn’t want to offend the photographer by offering to pay for their coffee or by expecting them to pay!!!
