Have you already picked them?

What I recommend the most to people is to see a whole day wedding album.
Alot of photographer will just choose their best pictures to show their clients, so ask to see a wedding album of pictures that they took from beginning to end.

I browsed a few different lists of recommended questions to ask and picked the ones that I cared about/couldn’t find the answer on their website. These were the questions I brought:

Who are the actual photographers that will be at the wedding? Do you meet with them beforehand?

What happens if there is an emergency and the photographer can’t be there?

Have they photographed at your venue before?

About how many pictures will be taken?

What time do they arrive? What do they recommend for a timeline (i.e. how long for pictures)?

Is a CD of images included? High-res? Reprinting rights? (VERY important to me)

How does the payment work? What kind of deposit? Is tax included?

If an album is included – how many pages/pictures? Do we help design?

If engagement session – when? How long? What location options do we have? Can we included our dog (may not apply but was a big priority for us!)?

Hope that helps!!

MrsAlbright got a bunch of the questions but I just wanted to add:

  • Can you make a list of some important photos you want (with family, ect.)
  • How long to get pictures back?
