- Wedding: August 2012
We are meeting our Reverend tomorrow, for the first time. We chose him as a recommended vendor of our venue. Our first choice was my FI’s lifelong family friend/Reverend, but he is retired and ailing and lives several states away so his health won’t permit him to even attend, let alone officiate.
Our second choice was a good friend of mine who is a musician and also an ordained minister, but he is on tour in Europe right now and then filming a movie in August and filming is scheduled to barely end right before the wedding, it’s cutting it too close for my comfort.
Our third try was for my BM’s brother but he’s not ordained in NY, only NJ…
Fourth try’s the charm, right? Any tips on things to ask? He’s already sent us several options for ceremonies and we have decided on that. We can tailor it however we want. But is there something I should ask besides the obvious? Any tips are welcome!
