– Look at full wedding shoots, not just the best 30-40 pictures of the night (anyone can showcase a few great shots, but you want all of them to be well-done)
– Samples of albums/parent albums if you’re going to be ordering one
– What exactly each package entails/if it’s customizeable/pricing changes if you customize anything
– Are they familiar with your venue(s)
– References of previous couples who have used them (maybe even for that specific venue you had)
– Ask about any requirements that are important to you (for us, it’s using a second shooter as well as getting digital negatives of all images)
– Time frame of getting pictures back
– Their attire on the wedding day (you want it to match what your guests will be wearing).

That’s all I can think of right now!  Good luck in your meetings!  I’m doing the same thing right now 🙂

Hmmm…most people ask me:

-How long have I been in the wedding industry
-How many weddings have I shot
-How long it will take to get their pictures after the wedding
-If I use an assistant or second shooter
-If I have any travel fees

The other ones Abbie017 listed are great too!

Just to add:

– What kind of rights you will have to the photos afterwards

– What they will do for you in the event that they cannot make it to your wedding at the last minute
