I just bought the MS251001!! I tried both on and they are BEAUTIFUL! The MS251001 is actually a very soft champagne/ivory color that is just gorgeous. I am a size 18 in the dress and it is very flattering. The lace is very unique and, in my opinion, not typical “bridal” lace. The skirt also has a champagne tulle layer under the lace topskirt that makes the flow and color of the dress so unique. I’m choosing to remove the layers of stiff crinoline under the dress to create a softer silhouette, but it is truly gorgeous as is.

The MS251004 was so pretty as well and my mom actually cried when she saw me in it, but I liked the other much better. The MS251004 has a very princess-y feel with a small waist that is accented by the gathering of the flowy skirt. I definitely recommend trying these dresses on! I didn’t think I would find anything for me at David’s and was so happy with my dress!

Do you have any pics of you in the dress? I’d love to see it on a real bride

@sheepandbear:  Funny thing, the MS dress wasn’t my original dress, I bought a DB dress and realized that I had major dress regret. So I went back and tried on other dresses and was beginning to think I wasn’t going to find a dress I loved. This dress was one of the last ones I tried on and I was surprised at how much I loved it! I never thought myself to be a ballgown kind of woman. But it is a gorgeous dress and I was surprised at how lightweight it is. I am considering changing the sash to maybe an ivory ribbon. Not sure. Have you gotten your dress yet? Mine doesn’t come until May! Such a long wait! LOL Cool

@lovelylight99:  Yaaay!!! It wasnt my first dress either!! I also had regret!! I got a new sash for this too, I do like the contrast with the champagne sash so I will probably switch to the one the came with the dress right before we leave for the night. For me, the dress only took a month for it to arrive which was much quicker than I expected. It came in probably a month ago. Its such a wonderful gown and although sometimes I wish I could be one of those dropped waist girls, its just not for me. I saw one of your previous posts about the veil to go with it, did you ever decide?!

I’ll post some pictures hehe!

@sheepandbear:  I wish I had your figure! You look fantastic in it! I never thought of using a textured sash with the dress. The consultant used an ivory colored sash when I tried it on but wasn’t sure about it. I had bought a veil when I bought the other dress, it is a DB cathedral length veil with beading along the edge. The DB stores in Northern VA don’t have the MS veil in their stores yet so I have no idea what it looks like in person. I guess the style is more what they call Mantilla, I think it is pretty but not sure that it might take away from the beauty of the dress? I wish mine would come in a month! Lucky you! I may keep the current veil because  I don’t want to hassle with trying to sell this one and DB won’t let me exchange it. I think my current veil goes well with this style of MS dress but I still would love to see what the MS veil looks like in person! I just don’t think I want to spend another $200 on another veil!

@lovelylight99:  lol whaaat! I was thinking the same thing about your figure!! I guess we all see ourselves a little differently, haha.

About the MS veil, I think it looks so pretty when on the website, but the lace on our dress is already quite big (hard to explain, but you know) so I completely agree that the veil would compete. Sometimes its not good to match I guess. What style number is your veil? I wanna look it up and see a pic of it!! I really have no clue about veils at all since I wasnt going to wear one. FHs sister went with me to pick out a new dress and they put a veil on me and she made me buy it (for the older members of the family)  and honestly I still dont think I’ve really looked at it, oops lol.
