I had a mini breakdown too – it was completely random and my FH didn’t know it was coming (neither did I!).

Planning a wedding is really hard work, and let’s face it, not all of us were born to be project managers.  Some people really enjoy all of the planning stuff, and others (like me), are getting through it because the end-goal is so worth it.

Good luck with your planning.  You will get there.  What helped me was to make my very own “TO-DO” list on the computer and actually put all of the tasks on paper.  Even though the list was huge, it helped relieve the stress I was feeling as all of these items and ideas ran through my mind constantly.

And – even though friends and family are far away – there are things you can delegate to them.

All the best! As the saying goes…”Keep Calm and Carry On!”

One more thing: I had another “mini-meltdown” in Michael’s the other day.  I had a whole bunch of DIY projects in mind, went to the wedding section and basically froze right there in the isle.  I ended up leaving without buying anything because the tasks seemed too big to take on.  At that moment, I cut my DIY projects in half because I don’t want to add more stress at this point.

And that’s all we can really do, right?  One thing at a time…!

I freaked out on Fiance in Hobby Lobby last week because he kept huffing and puffing. We’re getting married in less than a month and have NONE of the DIY stuff done since he is such a pain in the ass everytime we go out on a mission for the stuff we need. It bought me an hour to browse at my leisure 🙂
