We have a large military family and a family member has set their wedding for Memorial Day. The actual day of Memorial Day
Family members are not happy with the date being that this is the day to remember those who lost their lives fighting for their country.
What do you do?

Perhaps acknowledge it? Mention the members that have served and toast to them? Start the reception with the pledge or national anthem?

Does your family member realize that people aren’t pleased with her date choice? Does she plan on commemerating the military in her wedding?
