My Dad passed away from ALS (Lou Gehrigs’s Disease) nearly a year and a half ago. I want to remember him on my wedding day, particularly when I walk down the aisle. I have seen a lot of memorial pendants to attach to my bouquet, and I love this idea. However, I have not been able to find a pendant I like because eveything has been so small, only a single face would be clearly visible on them.
I am searching for a silver perndant that I can engrave a photo of my Dad and I onto. The particular photo in mind is toddler me in roller skates, holding my Dad’s hand for support. On the back of the pendant, I want some variation of the words “I know you are walking beside me today”. Again, the pendant would have to be fairly large (say, 1.5″x2.5″ or 2″x3″?) and I’d like it engraved.
Bees, does anyone know where I can find one of these? Also, the wording is not quite right – any ideas? Thanks!

🙁 Maybe I posted this at a bad time? Does anyone have any suggestions for an engraved photo memorial pendant/charm? And also, the wording is still not right – ideas? Thanks, bees!

I’m so sorry to hear about your father, but I think it’s lovely you’re doing something so special to remember him on that day. I’m doing something similar for my mom who passed away due to breast cancer just under 2 years ago. I bought a locket a “mothers butterfly garden” locket from a store on etsy.
Obviously this wouldn’t work for a daddy, but I bet they have something else that might. I’m planning on putting a picture inside, so I don’t know if you could engrave or not, but I do know that I loved how relatively large her lockets are, so that’s a plus! Maybe not quite as big as you had requested, but still larger than your standard locket. I’d recommend checking them out, and if that doens’t work, try searching on etsy in general. I bet someone is selling a pendant that would fit your needs.
Good luck and I hope some of this helps! 🙂

I don’t know if you’ve already had your wedding because my dates on posts are haywire. I just found this website though.
