My mom was talking with our caterer yesterday and she was asking all about the wedding! Mom told her we were doing a wishing tree for the guest book and she told mom that a lot of girls have been doing Memory Quilts! Anyway you have squares cut out of fabric and let everyone sign and then pit it all together into a quilt after the wedding! Mom had the suggestion of taking the squares to all of our showers/parties and have people sign there! What do you think!!!! I am liking the idea!

I’m actually doing this for my wedding 🙂 My aunt is a quilter and is getting everything together. We’re planning on have it only for the wedding (she lives in CA) and she is going to put it together after the wedding.

my sil did this for their wedding for their chuppah. they sent a fabric square with the invite and asked everyone to decorate it with a special picture/message and mail it back, and a friend made it into a quilt. it turned out awesome!

What a great idea artbee! Although I won’t be having a chuppah coz I’m not Jewish, thats also a fantastic way to make a guestbook of sorts? Then after you are married, you can snuggle into all those warm wishes…
