My Fiance is sick right now. He is acting like the biggest baby! Can’t move to do NOTHING himself. Baby can you get this? Baby can you get that?? I’m like I would HATE to see you if you were here by yourself! GOODNESS!! LOL!!
OMGGGGGGGGGGG you already know men would NOT be able to go through labor! LOL!!!
Anyone else experience their man acting like a baby!?!?

I never realized how true this was until I met my husband. If he hurts a part of his finger, he acts like it’s the biggest pain the world! ha ha And you are right about the labor part. I had a c section and was walking around the next day so my husband thought I didn’t experience much pain. I was but just couldn’t sit still. Men are huge babies!

Hah! Yes. Last year my husband was incapacitated, wouldn’t get out of bed, complained blah blah because he was *dying* of a bad cold, it must be strep etc. So we finally take him into the Dr. and it’s allergies. One Zyrtec later guess who’s bright eyed and bushy tailed….
I love how when sick, we’re still going to work, doing errands, taking care of the house too… men!

Could not agree MORE! Every time my Fiance is sick, the whining and complaining is nonstop! He acts like he is dying! I’m like OMG, it is just a cold or a headache. It makes me laugh! He totally does the “Can you get me this?” bit, too! Haha! Men are TOTALLY babies π

On the flip side, men really really appreciate it when their SOs take care of them when they are sick. It’s a huge opportunity to show someone that you love them, in sickness and in health!

My husband doesn’t (thank goodness) but my dad does. My mom says she has trouble feeling sorry for him when he’s sick because he has more than enough sympathy for himself.

My Fiance is such a baby when he is sick, and I blame his mother 100%. Every time he was sick she would wait on him hand and foot, even when he was in is early twenties. He did have mono so I can understand taking extra care for that but when he has a head cold should would do everything for him.
Fiance had a stomach bug a few weeks ago, she called at the very least twice a day, she stopped over one day and stayed for a few hours. When she called him she wanted to talk to me to ask me what I am doing for him.

I’ll admit that my husband and I are the opposite. I don’t deal with physical pain or feeling sick as well as he does. I complain a little and he really doesn’t complain at all! He’s much more a trooper than me!

@mrbee: and don’t get me wrong, I love to! He’s actually pretty cute when he’s all curled up feeling sorry for himself. Its just hilarious to see such an otherwise brute of a guy crumble at the first signs of discomfort π

My Fiance does this, he is the baby of his family too.
I dont mind taking care of him. I enjoy making him a special grilled cheese and a bowl of soup because I know it brings a smile to his face and he appreciates it.
