The one thing  I would change is to not use the colored vest. It can come off a bit high school prom-ish. Did you pick them because they match the BM’s dresses? I would keep the men in vests that match their suits.

The other thing you might want to consider is using a patterned tie- striped, paisley or pin dot. It gives more visual interest rather than color blocking the tie, pocket square and vest.

If you prefer to keep the solid color tie, I think it will look better with the grey vest. They could add a patterned pocket square.

I remember picking out out all the suits.  It was fun, but overwhelming with all the options!!  I agree with PP, we avoided the colored vests.  Our color was purple, and all the suits were black, so we did:

Groom: Purple tie, ivory vest, ivory pocket square

Groomsmen/ushers: Purple tie, black vest, purple pocket square

Dads: Silver tie and silver vest, purple pocket square

mrsbrizz2017 :  Fully agree with julies1949 : . You want to match the suits to the vest and get nice ties. I agree that the above appear more prom-ish than wedding. These ties are from JCPenny, look for a matte finish on the tie, not shiny- this will be easier to see in person- or check the material if buying on line.:

I also agree to use the same color vest as the suit. I voted option one if these are your only options. What I would do is have your groom in grey tux/vest, black tie. Groomsmen in grey tux/vest with colored tie. Dads in black/black vest with patterned colored tie.

Here’s what we did to give you some idea (our color was grey): groom in grey tux/vest, black tie. Groomsmen in grey tux/vest, light grey tie. Dads in black tux/vest with black and light grey striped tie.

I think I like option 4 but with gray vests instead of burgundy. I like that your Fiance would stand out with the bright tie…And you can do a burgundy flower for groomsmen and ivory for the dads and your Fiance… But if you are sold on the bright colored vests then go for it!

Eta, I would not do a patterned tie. no offense to anyone else but blechhhh… just my preference!

mrsbrizz2017 :  The groom will stand out. He is the one next to the bride.

He can wear a different tie.

I thought the wine vests made them look like bellhops too, then you said it haha. I like the most recent option you posted 🙂

And I agree with PP about the burgundy flower for groom and ivory for GM!
