Sooo… my Fiance is three inches shorter than I am. This does not both me.
BUT… for the wedding, when we stand next to eachother in photos or dance or take our vows, I would like us to be the same height. Maybe this is aweful, maybe it does bug me the tiniest smidge, maybe it is just that the day is already so wrapped up in visuals and this is the vainest moment of my whole life so I should be forgiven, take your pick.
I found a pair of lift shoes online that look pretty good, in my opinion. They aren’t the old fashioned kind for men that have a three inch heel, they add height with a little heel and most of the lift built into the shoe. This is what they look like:

Am I crazy? Do these look terrible? It isn’t as if I will be upset if he isn’t my height, but before presenting the idea I wanted to bounce it off the Bees.
Thanks!

I think they look fine. You said yourself, most of the height is in the shoe, so why not?

I don’t think it’s any big deal. Mr. KM is three inches taller than me but I wouldn’t mind it if he were a little bit taller. Also, if you’re into the look, he could wear cowboy boots. Those have some pretty substantial heel!

Everybody already knows that you’re taller than him. Nobody is going to not notice that all of a sudden he’s 3 inches taller, and I think it might look a little silly to the people who know you.

My dad is 2 inches shorter than my mom, so he wore lift shoes for their wedding.. and my mom wore ballet flats.. The pictures look fine and you could never guess he had lift shoes on.
