I wish I could help you but my Fiance ended up picking out a white gold ring. He says out off all the rings he tried on, he liked it the best for the look/weight. The only thing I’d worry about getting a ceramic ring would be the fact it’s ceramic. Maybe it’s different with jewelry, but when I hear ceramic i think of breakable dishes. I hope I’m totally wrong in this regard. Either way, good luck!

How about Titanium its suppossedly light weight can be dark:

Also a friend of mine got married last year and she  got her husband a stainless steel ring.  I think it had some weight to it though but I am not sure.  I do know that they got off ebay for 7 bucks, people thought it was tungsten but it wasn’t it looked something like this:

I know nothing about ceramic rings but I know that could be potentially fragile and essentially the complete opposite of tungsten strength wise.  I’d try the titanium and see how that goes.

Titatium is lighter than tungsten. I’m not certain about ceramic rings..I’d think they would have a tendency to be fragile.

If he likes the weight of gold and the dark color I would look into getting a gold ring plated in black rhodium …. Check it out there may be places that stock rings and if not find it already mase you can prob send one out to be plated in black as apposed to the white rhodium white gold is usually plated in… Same way gold comes in yellow, white, rose and even green they also have black gold and black rhodium ..

If he likes a black ring, go with ceramic. My husband is very happy with his.
