Hey bees! We had a rushed experience getting wedding bands (still not happy about that) and anyway we ended up picking his band quickly and without enough thought on the options.
Do you have pics of what your husbands got?
I know its all preference and I know the width depends on hand size and finger etc. But Id like to see some ideas for comparsion. I dont even have a picture of what we did pick so thats hard too
Thanks in advance!

Hello! My husband, who hates jewelry, wanted something “manly” and black. Lord knows he got exactly that. He chose an 8mm wide brushed back zirconium ring. He chose the wider one for comfort and black because it’s his favorite color. Can we see a picture of what you guys chose for his ring?

oh nice! does he have large hands/how do you find the 8mm, does it look average or big when you see it from afar?
That’s the issue, we didn’t get a picture (I was too overwhelmed by my ring choice and I’m actually sad cause I didn’t get to spend the time with him picking his out).
It was a white gold, brushed finish, 7mm but he has small hands, so I’m worried he picked too big. It was much plainer than I was expecting, sort of like little ridges go down on the side, but not very noticable.

My husband’s band is brushed in the middle and then shiny on the outside:

My fiance wears an engagement ring. His is brushed black tungsten carbide with a rose gold interior and a yellow sapphire. It’s also 8mm wide. He wears a size 7 ring, but has decently long fingers. All in all, his hands are pretty small compared to the average man. But, the 8mm ring looks gorgeous on him. He actually prefered a really wide ring because the thin rings made his fingers look longer and thinner.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the width. If you measure it out with a ruler, and compare to your husband’s hand, 7mm isn’t that large. It will definitely be visible, but not overwhelming on his hand.

My husband’s ring was shiny when we bought it, but, after 15 years, it’s matte now. It’s 9 mm wide, but it doesn’t look huge. He has linebacker hands (size 15), so it’s very proportional.

Brushed tungsten, 6mm wide, size 8.5

MY husband has a “hammered” white gold ring. I don’t have a picture. He loves it though!

Miine got matte. I don’t know the mm but I think it was a 4 or 5…

We went for a tungsten carbide ring. I had no idea how heavy it was for a man’s band. It is too heavy for comfort. We are looking at getting a new one in a different metal.
