(Closed) Men’s Warehouse Disapointment – am I alone?

We went to MW Tux, a division on Men’s Warehouse but they were really nice and helpful.  I woudn’t go to that store and it seems really sneaky of them to change the terms on you multiple times.

I talked to one of thier sales people at a bridal show last weekend and I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. It’s interesting to see that I’m not the only one that felt that way. Part of me doesn’t like going to major chains. I perfer to spend my money with local small business owners if possible.

I would cancel because the manager was rude. We got the same deal and they didn’t tell us about the $30 when we first went in, but I got a phone call and an appology from a customer service rep. and he explained everything to us. Apparently $40 have to be put down before you can get your group number, and the $10 from the show was to secure the offer/deal. 

When my FH paid the $30 the other day, they gave him two other coupons to use in the near future (not for tux).

They are probably being nice to us because we are ordering about 20 tux. The offer did say that you have to rent 5 tux in order to get one free, but I didn’t see anything about having to get a shirt, tie, vest, and tux in order to get the deal.

I wanted to post on this blog about my recent experience at MW.  I was married on 8/14/10 and got fitted for my tux about a month and a half prior to the wedding.  I chose MW because my groomsmen all live in diffrent cities on the east coast and wanted them all to be able to get fitted at a MW in their respective city.  Because my wedding party was close to 10 people (including groomsmen, ring bearer and fathers) I became eligible for a $400 coupon towards the purchase of a new suit at MW.  I was supposed to recieve and use the coupon before the wedding but it never showed up.  About a month after my wedding when thing in my life had gotten back to normal, went back to the local MW store and inquired about my coupon.  They said I should have gotten it in the mail and the offer for the suit was no longer available to me.  I called the MW headquarters in Houston Texas to inquire and they quickly contacted my home MW store and put the coupon offer back on my account.  I was very happy with the service from the home office and will continue to use MW as a result.
