I was wondering if your FH/DH wanted to pick out his ring or did you? My Fiance is not giving me any input. He doesn’t care what he gets. He’d probably be happy with a gumball ring.LOL I’m having a hard time deciding what to choose. There are so many different kinds of rings, etc.

All FI cared about was that it was tungsten and not gold, as he rock climbs, fixes cars, etc that will scratch his ring – and tungsten doesn’t really scratch. I told him I wanted it to be closer to white gold then the darker tungsten option and then he picked which one he liked the best – so I voted “we looked together”

we went to the mall chains to get an idea. originally I thought we’d just get Fiance a smooth plain yellow gold band, as that would match my rings nicely, but I wondered if he’d rather get one of the trendier ones that are in tungsten or something. When we first looked, he was drawn toward the two-toned rings and really didn’t like the rings that are dark or black because they seemed too… I don’t know, morbid? Not “wedding” enough is what he said. However he finally tried on just a solid white gold band and realized he liked the silver look way better than the gold, and we opted for a cobalt band I ended up ordering off amazon ($90 vs. the same ring at Kay’s for $350!) I did, however, order this without telling him (oops?) but he loved it once it arrived.
So long story short, he pretty much shocked me and I’m glad I let him go look.

We picked it together. 🙂 Then again, we picked out my Engagement Ring pretty much together too. Lol.

We looked together for both our rings. My E ring is white gold so I suggested he get something to match and he ended up getting a titanium ring.
He loves it as it is very lightweight, he doesn’t usually wear any jewellery at all and it was the 1st ring that felt comfortable on him.

I picked other… We kind of looked together, but I kind of pushed my guy toward one design… I know that sounds really harsh, but he does like it, promise! We ended up both getting fairly traditional settings that complimented each other quite well!

I just bought my fiance’s ring yesterday. All he cared about was that is wasn’t yellow gold or super shiny. I favorited a few different rings on Amazon and then let him rank them. He chose a tungsten ring that I got for less than $50.00 over a white gold ring that cost $300.00! Awesome.

I was surprised how important his ring was to him. Not that he was after something complex or flashy, just that it fit his personality.
