Darling Husband was super picky about his ring. He wanted something plain as well. We found a ring he loved, but it was way over our budget so we took the photo to our jeweler and they replicated it.

We got our rings from an Etsy seller; the rough style matches mine.  He was an absolute pleasure to work with and has already resized each of our rings because we didn’t measure ourselves right! He can work in gold or silver and polish/rough things up.  He’s totally game for custom work =)

My Fi’s an engineer and decided to get a black titanium ring.  They are fairly inexpensive (his was around $200).  He is a little worried about it falling off when he is tinkering in a machine, so if something does happen it is fairly cheap to replace.  Also they are very durable (don’t think they scratch, could be wrong though).  No pic as it isn’t coming in till later next week, but it looks something like this.
