So my Fiance and I have been searching for a wedding band for him for…oh god, months and months it seems. He has liked NOTHING in the stores, so I knew this would be a long journey for him. We tried a new jeweler yesterday and they had an impressive selection of men’s rings! He actually found 4 (four!!!) he liked and narrowed it down to two rings, and then one ring.
What I think really made him decide on one ring over the other was price… I liked one, and he whispered to me that I couldn’t afford it. He was right… it was $2400!! And the one he decided on (and also my favorite) was $1050! I can do that price, but I honestly didn’t think that men’s wedding bands would cost so much!
How much did your man’s wedding band/ring end up costing? I’ve heard of girls paying everything from $50 to $5000.

His was a little under $600. Its two tone gold. He was very adamant about gold because he wanted to be able to size it later if needed. I purchased it online. There was a similar one he liked in a store that was about $1100.
Do you have any photos? The bee is good at finding less expensive alternatives.

@PeachSnapple: I got my Fiance a dark gray tungsten ring through the same jewler that he got my e-ring/wedding ring from for $330. It is made by Triton and has a lifetime guarantee/warranty. Don’t know what your budget is for his ring, but thought this was pretty reasonable for his wedding ring. 🙂

Black Tungsten Carbide from Overstock.com. We tried them on at several jewelers and these are the only ones he likes. Same ring was $400 in store (size 14). I got it for $70.

Free, passed down from his grandmother. She bought it for her late husband in the 80s. She was just passing it on and SO decided to use it as his wedding band when we marry.

$50. We bought it from a FB sale site! It was actually the same ring we saw on Overstock that he loved, and we didn’t have to wait for shipping!

$50 with engraving. The ring is custom made, titanium, from Etsy ($35). We had it engraved locally ($15).
