$1700 x2 for his ring since he lost it during our honeymoon while we were snorkeling (my fault).

We have matching wedding band.  I love them so much!

@PeachSnapple:  Just remember that it is forever. That’s what is getting me through the sticker shock.

@PeachSnapple:  Cool thread ..  My SO’s wband has a little story behind it.  It was half priced from $900 so got it for $450 w/o a diamond.  He said he did not want one..  But I had the idea to put a weeeeeeee lil white stone and surprise him. Had to show him just so he would not freak cuz like I said,  he did not want a diamond.  Jeweler loves me so charged a $100 to add the diamond stone…. All good cuz ring was about $550 total

Ring A

However story goes..  That after he seen the blue diamond stone in my RHR / Anniversay Ring / Something Blue ring… He went groomzilla on me and demanded  he get the same matching stone for his wband.  Shocked the crap out of me cuz he did not want a diamond blip stone stone to begin with.  Anyway we got the blue stone added and we both agree it adds so much character to his ring with the white n yellow gold and you hardly see guys with colored diamonds in their w/bands… So for a few hundred more we got this natural blue beauty added.  Total about $800 bills by time it was all done to SO’s taste.. He even increased the size of diamond himself..  His demand  LOL… funny after all he did not even want one.

Ring B

We were both shocked…The appraisal value doubled to what I piad all cuz of the blue diamond 🙂

My FH got a tungsten band. It was originally $900 but because we took the plunge on my high-priced matching Tacori band for my e-ring they knocked $700 off his ring. So, we got it for $200. If you have the money for $2,700, go for it. We just didn’t have it. He’s going to wear it for decades, after all!

My Fiance has an e ring like me – I figured if I was going to signal I was taken, so should he! Where I’m from men commonly get an e ring instead of a wedding ring. It serves as both really. We have considered swapping it when we marry but he only has a plain D shaped very heavy silver ring. He works with his hands a lot so he will need to get a new one every year at least I think – it’ll get mangled or lost down holes, but at the same time he can’t take it off every day all day, no way!! Thankfully he loves silver and hates gold.

I think in USD his cost around $80 and we found it on etsy, a lovely lady sold it to us, and sent a sweet little note – stuff like that means a lot!

He might consider a white gold band for when we marry but in truth if it’s going to go to waste then it’s money down the drain so we’ll see how his first e ring fares! He has massive hands too, so rings will always need to be chunky = more expensive! Luckily he isn’t in the least materialistic and he is very much a man’s man who wants as little fuss as possible 🙂

$120 for a gold band. But he lost it in JFK, so we are looking for a new one, and it will be heavier and more expensive.
