I am in the “other” category.  I used to get it every 35 days.  That was years ago.  Now, who knows.  It comes when it feels like it.  This past cycle was somewhere near 65 days, and only started with the help of Provera.

Otherwise, over the past few months, they have gone something like day 39, day 49, day 26, day 53….random!  It’s fun…like a special surprise.  Totally kidding.  It friggin sucks!

I am so envious of all you 28 day ladies!

I’m on BC so mine are always 28 days. But the length once it starts has changed. Used to be 5, now its 7. I talked to my doctor about it and she said I’m normal, but very unlucky. lol.

My cycle rotates in three to four month periods, as in, month one my cycle will be approx 21-23days, month two 23-26days, month three 26-29 days annnnnnnnnnd then I am back to the beginning in month 4 with a 21ish day cycle. Total pain in the butt, because it is never the same week of each month etc. Though I have noticed that my cycle is pretty closely synced with the full moon cycle the past 2-3 years, makes me feel like a werewolf lol.

dude, that would suck so hard. I would hate ‘not knowing’ at least I have a general idea of when I’m going to cycle, vague, but better than a completely random day :/

I am 2 years postpartum and haven’t had a period yet.  My last period was Dec. of ’07!  However, this is all attributed to the fact that I have an IUD (Mirena, put in 6 weeks PP) and I’ve exclusively breastfed for 2 years.  Madison is weaning now so I’m thinking I may see some spotting or a short, light period here shortly.

Even when not on BC, it’s been a 28 day cycle since day 1 – give or take a few days every once in a while.  Only once were they not 28 days. I lived w/ a girl (also not on BC) and we synced up to a 5 week cycle and stayed consistent on that new schedule.

I’d get mine every other week. Then I would be put on BC to help get things under control. Shortly after going off BC I’d be back to getting my period every other week. I’ve tried the BC thing twice for a few years and when I go off it’s always the same thing. Now I’m expecting, so we will see how things go after the baby.

Before going on birth control, I often had 21-24 day cycles.  That totally sucked!!  I hated having a period every 3 weeks (and I’d get terrible cramping and the periods were really heavy and often lasted a full 7-9 days – sorry if TMI).  Every once in a while it would be closer to 28 but usually not.

Now I’m on birth control and have my period every 28 days (sometimes it comes a day later, but close enough).  And they are so much shorter and lighter.  I’ll be sad whenever Darling Husband and I start TTC and I go back to cramping and long, heavy periods every 3 weeks.  🙁

I’m on BC so it usually shows up on the 3 inactive pill day and only last about a day or two. Before I was on BC, I had pretty regular cycles. I’m greatful for that. I couldn’t imagine never knowing when and where it was going to happen.

before BC mine were pretty long – 30-35+ but now of course on the pill they’re about 28-29.

Mine is totally random.  It’s never less than 28 days but sometimes it’s 32, sometimes 35 and I’ve had as many as 60 days in between.  good times all around.

Mine is also completely random. Anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months between periods (if it goes longer than 3 months, I induce it with a pill–but I’ve only had to do this twice).

Mine have been 28 days since day 1 whether or not I’m on any form of BC.  I can literally get it to within an hour of when I’ll start, I’m literally clockwork.  Only bad thing I have is my periods last 10 days (very heavy) with BC, as long as I’m on BC I can get them down to 5.

I used to be every 28 days (I don’t use hormonal contraceptives) and over the past year it has now can be anywhere from 28 to 35 days. However, I am an older bee, so it could be perimenopause!
