Lol, oh, grandma.

Mine’s not really crazy or has that “I don’t give a damn” attitude that some get with age. She’s just old and kind of outdated.

My dad showed her how she could use the computer to do things like play games and use the internet to download knitting patterns and projects and all this other stuff. So she thought that was neat and bought a computer….just to play solitaire. That’s literally all she uses it for and she does it for hours.

She was also talking about the printer her nephew gave her and how she just has to catch the papers once they print out (not that she uses it unless she’s forced to type a letter cause once again…solitaire). When my dad went to visit, he realized the shipping tape was still holding the paper tray to the underside of her printer.

My friend has a grandfather with memorie problems and no filter, though. One time they were at a family gathering and he randomly yelled out, “Sarah! You b-tch!!!!” She asked what was wrong and he said “You promised me, we’d have sex every day, and I didn’t get any today!” so she reminded him that they had sex that morning. He goes “oh…did I like it?” and she said he did. So he went “oh…ok” and went on like nothing happened lol.

Lol I can’t really think of any stories in particular but my grandma does crack me up.  This pretty much sums up her attitude: a few days ago I called her and asked how her morning had been, and she grumpily said “well I woke up and my newspaper didn’t come again, so I had to call and cuss someone out.”

I had all four front teeth missing as a kid (normal baby teeth falling out).  I ran around singing “all I want for Christmas is my four front teeth”.  She packaged and wrapped her old dentures and gave them to me for Christmas.  :/

She was great though.  When my older cousin and her boyfriend moved in together and older family freaked out about living in sin, she said “That’s just what kids do now” of course she had a live in boyfriend also. 🙂

She was the one at family cookouts to be dumping a cooler of ice water on someone.  She insisted us grandkids bring music we liked to her 65th birthday party, and then danced to music like Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue.

My grandma is a tiny, 90 year-old French lady. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with stories about her!

My great-grandma grabbed Travis Tritt’s butt at a Grand Ol’ Opry concert once. He got off the stage and was walking down the aisle while singing, and she was in the handicap section at the front. She reached right out and grabbed his ass, leaned over to my mon and said, “I don’t know how such a fine man squeezes into those tight little leather pants, but I love it!”
