Ok, I need some creative adivce:
Here’s the background–My Fiance is from Southern California, I am from Texas and we met and are getting married in Colorado.
For our reception, we’ve decided to have our appetizers be insipired by SOCAL, Dinner inspired by Texas, and dessert inspired by Colorado.
I’m trying to figure out the best way to display this. At first I was thinking through a menu card in each napkin, but ultimatly, that’s just more money to spend on stationary that will most likely taken out of the napkin and thrown to the side ( I also think trying to put all of the menu options, describing where they are from will be too crowded), so then I thought about getting cute BIG frames and doing the chalkboard route….placing each board by the stations. And then, another idea came of doing the directional signs without the actual arrows. A big stick and at the top in a big wooden block it say SOCAL, than under that in smaller wooden blocks it name out all of the options.
What do you think? Will guests understand the concept? (hopefully people who come to our wedding know where we’re each from and can peice it together! haha) Which idea do you like best or which idea do YOU have that works best?!
Thanks!
